Eric Sardinas
United States
Eric Sardinas is perhaps the only true rock star in the blues world. With his striking appearance, wild lifestyle, relentless stage energy, and charismatic guitar playing, his trademark is the raw, massive sound he creates with a slide on his overdriven resonator guitar. Sardinas’s shows are a relentless firestorm where Delta blues, boogie-woogie, country, gospel, rock ’n’ roll, and Jimi Hendrix-style mind-blowing psychedelia collide.
Born in Florida in 1970 and having started out as a street musician on the streets of Los Angeles in the 1990s, Sardinas rose to the world’s biggest stages around the turn of the millennium, where he seems to belong by right of his attitude and demeanor. After signing a record deal with Steve Vai’s label, Sardinas also performed on several of Vai’s world tours, including playing alongside Vai and Joe Satriani at the famous G3 concerts.
He has released eight successful albums. The latest one was released in 2023 and is titled Midnight Junction.
