The Porkuni Blues Band has evolved from a group of friends who performed at the Porkuni Blues Festival. As the name suggests, the Porkuni Blues Festival is a blues festival that has been held in Porkuni, Lääne-Viru County, for 10 years. The band has grown organically year by year, with well-known talented musicians joining, and today the lineup consists of 12 permanent members and one substitute member.
The band performs both well-known and lesser-known blues songs and spices up the setlist with pieces from other genres as well.
