From 2026 to 2028, the Enterprise and Innovation Foundation will provide 235,000 euros in funding for the Augustibluus festival through the European Union’s Cohesion Policy Fund. The project’s goal is to bring together Estonian and international blues music enthusiasts, journalists, and the world’s best blues artists. As a result of the project:
(1) the number of foreign tourists spending time outside Tallinn in Estonia will increase, as will Estonia’s reputation as a destination for international sports and cultural events.
(2) the number of tourism service providers involved in organizing the events, who sell their services to visitors attending the events, will increase.
