In 2015, Vello Jurtom and Jaak Arula met for the first time at a jam session. That’s how it all began.
Their repertoire included jazz standards and bossa novas, later expanding to include blues and funk, always drawing inspiration from the best-known pieces made famous by the greats.
The current lineup has been together for several years; the newest member, joining in 2025, is Indrek Tiisel on harmonica.
They have performed on the stages of Estonian blues festivals and even at Jazzkaar.
For August Blues, Ülari Kirsipuu, the longtime saxophonist at Rock Hotel and leader of his eponymous rock ’n’ roll band, will join as a special guest.
