Augustibluus Pass

The festival will take place August 6–8, 2027. The Augustibluus will be held for the 33rd time in 2027!

Launched in 1994, the festival has become one of Estonia’s most important music events and holds a firm place among Europe’s top blues festivals. Over the course of three days, the festival features nearly 40 concerts and events on approximately 10 different stages located throughout Haapsalu. The heart of Augustibluus is the courtyard of Haapsalu Episcopal Castle, where the festival’s main concerts take place. The program also includes acoustic concerts at Haapsalu’s old train station, concerts on the promenade and throughout the city, church concerts, poetry evenings, and night concerts at the Haapsalu Cultural Center. The festival’s strength lies in its diverse and well-balanced program, which brings together international stars, rising artists of the new generation, and well-known Estonian musicians. Special emphasis is placed on the various forms of blues, ranging from traditional roots blues to contemporary blues rock and soul. The charming setting of this small resort town gives Augustibluus a unique atmosphere, with concert venues scattered throughout the town, allowing the audience to experience both large-scale stage shows and intimate courtyard concerts. Direct interaction between artists and the audience also plays a key role, as does the vibrant club culture featuring late-night jam sessions.
